Hi Mike,
The task of purchasing a home is, needless to say, a daunting one, and even more so if one is a first time buyer, such as my husband and myself. A good home buying experience begins with having a real estate agent who is knowledgeable, dependable, determined, energetic, and most importantly, someone who is set on finding a home suitable to one’s needs, and within the budget of the couple in question. This thank you is long over due, it may be a little long winded but this is
how I truly feel about my real estate experiences with you.
10 years I called several realtors whose name I obtained from the listing on
the houses I was interested in seeing. Mike Lefton called me back within
hours, the other realtors called a couple of days later or not at all. The
following day I personally met Mike, when I first saw him I was a little
hesitant in trusting him with such an important task of finding me a home.
He looked so young! I thought this kid surely has no experience and he
probably doesn't know the ropes of real estate. I didn't want to be rude so
I went to see the house I had picked from the listing. We saw the house, as
well as two other properties. Neither of these properties appealed to me,
that weekend Mike called me back and said I have other houses I want to show
you. I thought, I don't want to waste his time...but he said...I made some
notes on the comments you had on the houses we saw and I think I know what
you are looking for. I agreed to see those houses....wow...he was right,
the houses he showed me were the type of floor plan I was looking for. Not
only did he find the perfect home for me, he sold the home I was living in
at the time, timing it all to perfection. Mike was so organized, followed
through on everything, paid attention to details and my comments and he
certainly knew his business. Boy was I wrong with my first impression, he
never missed a beat and he sold and bought my home with no stress on me.
This year I called Mike again; there was no hesitation this time. The great
experience I had with him 10 years ago as my realtor repeated itself. He
remembered my preferences, and again made the purchase of my new home a
terrific one. This time, again, he went above and beyond in insuring I was
purchasing the right home, helped me with the mortgage loan, escrow etc. He
was just as I remembered him organized, committed, patient and now with 10
more years of experience (he still looks like a kid). He didn't just treat
me as his customer; he made me feel like a friend and always looking out for
my best interest. He knows Simi Valley like the back of his hand and he has
all the necessary business connections which made this purchase experience a
terrific one again.
Mike I can't thank you enough for all your effort in again finding the right
home for me. It's been 5 months since we closed escrow and I could not be
